This should be a quick meeting to cover some talking points regarding the opposition to the current proposed text amendment. This meeting is open for all who would like to attend…
As of now the the planning commission meeting regarding the text amendment is still scheduled for June 7.

Organizational meeting went well – Glad the Farm Bureau was there to further the discussion, sometimes heated but I think productive.
The working group from last year has put together a great document that gets us most of the way there in addressing the future growth of our industry…While in no way complete, it certainly provides the meat to put together something quickly. Perhaps the Farm Bureau along with wineries and growers on both side of the discussion can come together and provide a ‘finished’ doc to have the Planning Commission and staff recommend a formal review by the B.O.S.
It’s clear that a moratorium is just bad policy and creates more problems that it could possible solve.
